Stubbington 2016

Each autumn term the year 6 children are invited to attend a four night residential trip to Stubbington Study Centre. The children take part in a variety of outdoor educational activities where they will learn about the local environment and the animals and plants in the ground. All of the activities are aimed at Key Stage 2 children.  There are many activities that encourage teamwork and they will also develop independence skills as they learn how to be responsible and organise themselves.

The staff at the centre along with the schools year 6 teaching and support staff lead the activities and will be around to supervise the children during meal times and showers. The staff from the school sleep in accommodation next to the children’s sleeping quarters.

A whole host of activities where planned for the week including team building exercises and wildlife activities.

The 2017 trip will take place week commencing 18th September.

This year’s trip will cost £220.00 and the final balance will need to be paid no later than Friday 8th September. Payments can be made online by visiting www.scopay.com/oakley-jun, or by cash or cheque on a Monday or Friday morning in a named envelope.  Further documentation will be sent nearer the time and a meeting for parents will be held at the beginning of September.
