Below are a list of some websites that you could use. All of the websites are completely FREE however, some of them might require a username and password. Any information you need is listed below.

https://docs.google.com/ – This is a free alternative to Microsoft office that children may want to use to complete any tasks on the computer (for example creating a poster or PowerPoint). This website does require you to create an account but it is completely free to do this.

Maths

 http://www.mymaths.co.uk/ – Use this website to access some maths tasks your teacher may have set you. You should have all the login information in your homework diary. There are also LOADS of extra activities you can do by pressing the ’Games’ button or click on ‘Practice’ then ‘Boosters’.

http://www.topmarks.co.uk– This website has tonnes of great resources if you use the search bar. You can click on the ‘Learning games’ button to play some really fun Maths and English games (Hit the Button is a popular one).

www.ttrockstars.co.uk—Use this website to practise your times tables and earn coins to buy things for your avatar! You can even challenge your friends. You should have all the login information in your homework diary. Your teacher will be able to see how you are doing.

www.mathplayground.com– This website is full of fantastic maths games!

https://nrich.maths.org/ – This is a brilliant website with lots of reasoning problems that really make you think outside of the box.

https://mathsstarters.net/ – This is a create website which contains different maths activities including a number challenge of the day!

https://mathantics.com/ – This website offers a variety of videos  that help explain some mathematical methods.

English

http://www.pobble365.com – This website shows you an image and sets mini writing activities based on that image. Choose one or two of the activities to complete in your workbook. There is a NEW image every day and you can even use the ‘Pick a day’ button to look at previous images/ activities.

http://www.typing.com – Use this website to practice your touch typing skills! You should have all the login information in your homework diary. Work your way through the lessons and if you feel confident enough you could even try the test!  Your teacher will be able to see how you are doing.

http://read.gov/aesop/index.html  –  This website is an interactive stories resource which contains lots of different Aesop Fables for your child to read.
